SMALL SURFACE MOUNT HALOGEN ART LIGHT – WENLUX®

The Wenlux 717 LED Art Accent Lights are designed to replace the former 50 Watt halogen models without damage to construction.  The high efficacy 20 Watt LED chips deliver a bright and uniform art illumination from a small accent light source equivalent to 60 watts of halogen light. The 98 CRI color rendering LED chip includes a

R9 of 90 which reveals true color in art for accurate color discrimination. 

The replacement LED version is a fully adjustable art light suitable for use in residential art lighting, art gallery lighting, museum lighting, lighting corporate collections, and highlighting focal points within other business lighting environments. This LED art accent light delivers final adjustment control to create clean beams of light – cleaner than architectural lighting industry standards. Illuminating art with a controlled light beam free of halation provides fine art lighting focused on a subject without the distraction from a halation ring of light beyond the subject.

Softening lens options range from a halation free and proprietary 0° softening lens to a 28° softening lens. A softening lens, combined with LED optics, delivers clean beam spreads ranging from 14° to 63°.  The narrow beam lens holder tube is an adjustable zoom of 14° to 28°; it is ideal for illuminating sculptures or other precious objects with a striking pop of light, a narrow beam spotlight for small artistic focal points.

Two LED replacement models are available providing different mounting systems.  The 717BL includes an integral driver/junction box – the fixture can be beam mounted, wall mounted or ceiling mounted without use of a recessed junction box. 717ML is a compact monopoint art accent light for use with an existing deep recessed junction box which hides the LED driver.
